Comfortable car that was very pretty. This one was silver and caught attention easily. Good to ride in during long commutes. I was a little surprised that it did not get very good gas mileage for its size. Repairs were too expensive. Nov 05, 2011

Love this car! Its a great car just for driving around, not really good for families because it really is only ment to seat 2 people. The back is mostly for show. It's a great car to fix up. Hondas are the best cars out there. They last forever!Nov 05, 2010

Performance: H23A built to handle a low boost turbo, 160hp stock, can swap to a h22a vtec 200hp. Build Quality: My car got T boned on a rainy day, I was on the passenger side (Collision side) I walked out alive. Collision just above passenger door in the fender area. Damage can be seen through out the body to the quarter panels. Appearance: The worst in my opinion of the bb4 -bb6 chasis. 3rd Gen and 5th gen are best in my opinion. Cost of Ownership: Gas mileage is decent around 20/25, maintenance... car is almost problem free except for abs light is on, and transmission error codes. Fun Factor: Fun car to drive around, great for a track projeckt car.Apr 30, 2010

These are very stylish cars. I like that the power from the 2.3 is there but only when you want it, at least its there for a manual. It is a very comfortable ride, even on those dreaded long road trips. This car could sit four easily but there's not much room behind me b/c I'm 6'4. Something they should have changed would be the center console. I don't like how it divides the back seats. Makes it even more difficult if a taller person sits in the back, they don't have any leg room what so ever.Mar 24, 2010

Performance: 0-60 in 7.5 - 8 seconds. 1/4 mile in 14 seconds at 95 mph. TIFWIW. Build quality: good, well built, and can run forever if taken care of, which leads me to... Reliability: terrible, but that wasn't the car's fault, more like the previous owner now doing proper maintenance when needed. It didn't start half the time (terminal cables), front rotors were gouged and warped long before I bought it, and rusted like bare steel in salt water. Looks: pretty sporty, 2 door, sunroof, spoiler, aluminum wheels. Fun factor: fine, when it ran. 5-speed always helps :) Dec 09, 2009

Overall I don't have any problems with the car. It is very fun to drive. Pretty quick car for being stock. Looks great. Not the everyday Honda that everyone owns. I am a big Prelude fan, and I'm working on building the motor and turboing tihs car.Oct 03, 2009

Everything about it is awesome. The suspension could be a little better. the motor preforms very well. The curves are very stylish and look way better than a dodge neon. they get good Mpg. and overall its a fun little car to drive for Daily driving and at the track. Sep 11, 2009

Acceleration is good. Braking is decent. Handling is good at high speeds. Build quality is for the most part good. But, being 17 years old, it needs a few fixes. Overall, I love the car and it's a F'IN beast!Jul 17, 2009

This used to belong to my mother, before I nabbed it, so it was never beat on. For a '92 four cylinder car, it has serious get up and go. This was party due to it's less than 3,000 lb curb weight and the 152 fl/lbs of torque. It had a very stiff suspension and a low/wide stance, giving it extremely stunning handling characteristics for a car that originally cost less than $21,000. Not only that, but '92-'97 is the best looking body style of any generation Prelude. With a lighter foot, I could have achieved somewhere in the neighborhood of 28 mpg. This things was generally a solid car, with only a few minor repairs having been done, most by myself. This was the first car I ever had that I considered to be fun to drive.Mar 21, 2009

The car is amazing, i highly recommend the forth generation Honda Preludes. Performance wise they aren't the fastest, but they pull hard all the way threw the RPM range, the breaking, and cornering are absolutely amazing. They are built very well. I haven't had to replace anything major since i've owned it. It is just a crazy fun car to own and drive.Jan 08, 2009

This is my 1992 Honda Prelude S running a surprising 145 hp, 10 more than an average S. Guess I got lucky for a stock. I love the performance on this car because it picks up fast! The handling, OMG, it's like it turns before you even turn your steering wheel. I just love the color of my car and I wouldn't change it...well maybe a blue. Of course I got the rust on the rear quarter panels but its nothing a little bondo wont fix. Yea, I think this turned out to be a good investment. All I need now is to swap the entire engine for an H22a JDM VTEC engine putting out a surprising 220 HP. Gonna probably go Frankenstein with an H23a1 Prelude SI Transmission and so I will have massive torque and Vtec to go with it.Dec 30, 2008

- Incredible and modern style - People who don't know this model thinks it's a 2000 model - For some people the digital temperature and gasoline gauge looks like an airplane dashboard - H22A engine kick ass and sounds great - leather interior looks luxury - Heated seats, electric door lock, windows, sun roof and miror are great!Oct 26, 2008

Best generation model there is, 4th generation is far the best looking of them all, handles well, looks great with or without kits on them and performance is exellent. well worth the money and great fun to throw around corners. downside the rear wheel steer needs some getting used to. :(Oct 25, 2008

You don't climb into this car and just drive it, you climb into this car, strap it on around you, and pilot it! S trim style basic, but it's spunky for a 4 cylinder with a 2.2L under the hood. Stage 2 clutch and a straight pipe exhaust make her even more fun to drive that she already seems. Hugs corners, not as tight as a Civic, but the power assisted steering GLIDES. She's a little rough on the outside because a previous owner before my best friend owned it, had the driver's side hit by a plow, and only primer painted and bondoed the damage. Other than that, it has a mean looking body kit, and the black painted hood and trunk lid give it a nice contrast from the white body. Overall, very SPORTY with a capital S, and has a nice mean growl from the straight pipe. I hope to fix up the roughness one day, but right now I'm having too much fun just driving her! Got her at 179k but that's just getting her second wind now.Oct 19, 2008

Well the preformance of the car could be better cause it only has the f22 for the engine not a h22 and it is a auto. But next summer it will have the h22 and a 5spd trans.The body on her is solid it is a car that was brough up from texas so there is no rust anywheres on the car.. it still has orignal silver paint but it is also going to be painted next yr with a added body kit also and wing.The car is so low and wide that it handles amazing.And the interior is like a brand new car not a scatch on the whole car and it is a nice blue. the car is amazing on gas and right now with the price of it cost me about 60 bucks and last around town for about 2 weeks. I find it the most beauitful looking car of its time and even right now not very many others turn my head!! i would recommend anyone that can find one in good shape for sale and you don't mind it not really being a car for passengers..then its a car for youAug 24, 2008

The car is an awesome and well built machine for the general public. the car handles well in all weather conditions. The cockpit of the car makes you feel like you are in a fighter jet because of all the spread out gauges and digital read out. The controls for the climate, windows, moon roof, and mirrors are all with in easy reach. The peddles are spread out enough to wear you can wear any kind of shoes and not have to worry. seating up in front is snug but not cramped. the seats hold you in well while making sharp corners. Rear seating is very tight and pinched but even with it being so small a 6 foot adult can still squeeze in and be comfortable for short trips, any longer than 20 min and the rear seat occupants might start to get agitated. The car is easy to see out of when your are looking forward but not so eay to see where you have been. Not that seeing where you have been matters in this car because all you will care about is going forward.Jun 01, 2008

For a '92, I was pretty impressed by my baby. She has minimal Rust and the clutch Still Feels Great. She handles well and Has quite the kick. Running 200HP Stock, she's still got lots of room left for little Mods. Not many thought or else I might end up blowing the Engine. The Under Carrige was in Great Shape (Better then my 1997 Sunfire). All Around, She's a Great Car :) and i'm Lucky to have her!May 07, 2008

a great reliable car and not too bad on the eyes if mod'ed correctly. wish i could have done more to her but all good things come to an end. i had to sell my baby . 2.3 DOHC Si non vtec (vtec wasnt avail in 1992) 4 wheel steering and 5 spd manual. great car loved her dearly. i miss u baby. The Honda prelude is one of the best cars that Honda made back in the 90's. the exterior of the car is designed with the sport car fan in mind while the luxury sport interior will leave any car fanacitc happy. The car has a lot of get up and go. Power by a H22A motor it produces 210 bhp which is really good for a 92 model car. when going through the turns you can feel the car gripping. Overall if you are looking for a classic car that will get you from point A to point B is this Honda Prelude.Jan 13, 2008
