990cc 3cyl non-turbo. Performance is better than it looks on paper, but still not great. Won't pull the speed limit on a flat road with the air-con running.
It was a cheap car when built, so is plasticky inside, but fairly well put together. I paid $400 for this one.
It is much bigger inside than it looks, quite spacious, almost a sleeper Tardis. Looks a bit odd outside with the amputated boot though.
Low maintenance, very good on fuel. 50-70mpg.
Quite fun to drive around town, easy in shopping centres, easy to park. quite nippy at low speeds. Very direct on the road, much like the oversize go-kart that it is.Sep 06, 2009

my car is white it came with a 1600cc carb engine and a 5 speed manual gearbox it ran well, one thing the mechanical parts I've purchased so far are expensive in comparison to a corolla. Its ok and for its make it corners good. Jul 21, 2009

Very Reliable and amazing little engine that produces so much power. I got 193 BHP out of 3 cylinder 993cc!!!
That must be crazy, as I have just lost my gearbox!
What Can I say, unbelivable little GIant GTti. The first 100 BHP per 1 litter engine!Jul 18, 2009

Performance:
There's nothing special about this one. A 1.3 L four-cylinder engine with single carburetor is enough for daily city driving, but for high speed or mountain driving may require a lot more work. I recommend the GTi model to accommodate such need.
Build Quality:
A typical cheap japanese car build quality. It's okay resistance for a few minor bumps, but you may careful about major crash as these kind of bump will smash the car badly.
Appearance:
Well, I'd say this car appearance is quite good. The streamline shape assure good aerodynamics and looks.
A few tweak will turn this humble car into a better ones. Mar 13, 2009

I loved this car, 3 cylinder engine with a hair blower sized turbocharger, 5 speed manual gearbox and an honest to god little beater! A very fun car to drive. It sound pethetic on paper but it's a little hero! RIP though because I totalled this car in a horrid accident but the little hero saved me and my friend...not much with my friend because he was hurt but he's fine today and the hero lives in our memoriesFeb 03, 2009

Only for those who is low on budget and high on expectation in performance. The only reason this car still commission on road is because there are more useless car on the road right now in my country, and of course budget is an important factor.
After an engine transplant and a coat of new paint, this car looks acceptable in the current society :)Nov 09, 2008
