Performance is excellent due to pre-rally preparation done in Japan.
Build Quality is solid, slight rust from wear & tear.
Appearance is poor and lacking. However unique.
Fun factor is through the roof with 4wd, short wheel base, and plenty of stock gauges to keep vehicle running smoothly.Oct 31, 2010

has pretty good acceleration, great breaks and awsum handling. since owning i've had to replace the blower valve hose that conects to the head gasket, the rubber band on the head gasket and tightened the exceleration line. one rust patch on the bonnet and it leaks on one side. overall it's in pretty good condition inside and out, sometimes the mph gauge looses itself and the taco doesnt work. very easy to maintain very economical very fun little car to drive easy to speed in and very comfy.
just needs a shiny gear knob and a cd player, new rims and red rally mudflapsNov 14, 2009

my modified Pulsar is running around 300hp at the moment and is capable of over 400 with a little more investment, great fun to drive and can hit 60 in 4 seconds which is quick in anyones terms. a car to be proud of. :)Jul 02, 2009

1991 Pulsar Gtir Car rocks. i love it. turbo power stroked motor and full time awd. full rollcage and a good boost controller. 3 lsd's it takes off like a rocket. The rear brakes are a pain in the ass to get parts for in my country but overall it is a great car. keeps the v8's in check. lolJul 31, 2008

Performance – acceleration, braking, handling very good.
Build Quality – has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles - its a Nissan lol but mechanically very good as always
Appearance – both interior and exterior styling - SICK lol, very good for a 1991 car designed in the 80's. lots of cool mod cons for the year
Cost of Ownership – gas mileage, maintenance - Can be very expensive, especially with the fuel prices of today
Fun Factor – is this car fun to drive? yeah! brings a smile everytime you get in it or put your foot down! :)

This is a cracking performance car. 4wd turbo, homologated rally car. It was a bit twitchy for my liking, however that could have just been the one I had for any length of time. It sits quite high, and has a lot of power wasted on crap weight on board. Other than that its very fast but guzzles fuel.Jun 09, 2008

Quick car, particularly in poor conditions, although the GTI-R really does need to be modified to reach its full potential (mine had height adjustable suspension, racing brakes and larger wheels, and exhaust and air intake mods). This one was also fragile, and would coke the spark plugs within a few weeks causing a misfire.Feb 10, 2008

Fast, nimble little car. Could beat a NA Silvia at the lights.Dec 26, 2007
