1991 Honda Accord Coupe Reviews, Pricing & Specs

the 1991 Honda accord was a great car. the power windows worked great, the AC and HEAT is not an issue. The 5 speed manual transsmission is good and the blue color is nice. The paint did start to peel but nothing a bit of maintance can take care of. Brakes are good, the SOHC 1.8 liter engine is a bit weak. Would have rather had the H22 engine in this car. Stereo is easy to replace and the seats are comofortable. EASY EASY EASY to work on.Oct 14, 2014

The early-90's Honda Accords are a very mixed bag. Not yet offering the V6 that the Accord is now known for, (Yes, McGuire.) the four-cylinder it was equipped with did a moderate job at keeping the car at pace. Its handling is also nothing particular to write home about. Where it does exceed expectations, however, is the durability and quality that Honda put into it. The particular one I had was tormented by problems up one side and down the other, but always managed to run once it was started (It had maybe a 2% failure-to-start rate). Even if parts were to fall off the car as you were driving, Honda parts are so cheap and easy to come by nowadays (With some parts even being swappable between models!), that the car's cost of ownership for a gear head is negligible. The acceleration isnt that reat, but maybe after a new engine instead of this one with 200,000+ miles, it would help. The braking is very good, but some disk brakes in the back will help it even more. Overall, the handling is good. For the amount of miles, the repairs tht iv needed to do are not so bad. although things are slowly falling apart, the 18 yr old car is still in good condition. The only complaint i have about the interior design is that the seats dont have enough movement fowards and backwards. The styling for theexterior was pretty good. No complaints. This vehicle has a low cost of ownership. It gets good gas mileage and the parts are cheap and easy to come by. Feb 15, 2010

it was by far my fastest car that could out run a crown victoria it was a 92 exr jdm front bumber straight pipe to hks high powere exhaust bigger cam cold air intake koni yellow top coilovers and z rated kumhos it was fast i topped it out doing 220 on robson drag in waterdown it was a sleepr rotted quarter panels but if u lined up with my car i would smoke you i ate a v8 trailblazer ss were my dad used to raceSep 07, 2009

Gas Mileage -- Awesome!!! Fun Factor -- Roomy, Heated Seats, Sunroof. Build Quality -- Takes a while for it to rust. Appearance -- Interior~ Wonderfully Comfy Exterior~ Looks big Costs -- Maintenance~ Easy to take care of. Fun to drive. 2 doors are better then 4.. The guy I bought this car from is a race car mechanic so the car has a custom racing style engine in it :) It may be old and not look like much, but she is a BEAST! She roars :)The ride is amazing. Her name is Hahnsette. Very reliable, great gas mileage, overall great car. Hondas really know how to make them last. My car has 168,000 and has many more to go. If you're ever looking for a great used car, Hondas will last you as long as you maintain them. Aug 07, 2008
