What owners say

AI Summary · 6 reviews

"Overall, owners really appreciate the 1991 Buick Regal for its reliability, spacious interior, and strong performance from the V6 engine. It seems to be a favored choice for new drivers and families looking for a trustworthy vehicle. However, some drivers have highlighted issues with electrical problems and the aesthetics, including dislike for original rims and certain colors. Many view it as a practical and sturdy car, despite a few quirks."

It just won't die no matter how hard you run the 3800. handles great in the snow too.

The Buick Regal in my opinion is the best car GM ever made. Even today. Since the 90's, this car was amazing. (I don't like the 80's regal) If GM offered the 3800 on the new regal's today, I would buy it, no questions asked. The 91 Regal is the car for me and until it dies, I will drive it. Everywhere.

This was the greates car I ever owned. I liked it so much, I bought an identical one after bouncing the first off a tree. Build quality was superb. The 175 HP 3800 performance was more than adequate when compared with other vehicles of it's vintage. The revised 4T60-E transmission was rock solid. The fiberglass transverse rear leaf spring provided rigid ride and stable control, with no spring sag over time. Economy was reasonable at 19 city and 30 highway. This car was a real looker, and stood out in a crowd as the GS package was limited relative to others.
