This Pick up is very strong n has torque i hardly use the 4WD at any given time, she was neglected for six years lying on bare open place went changed the oil and filters bled the brakes kicked the starter and she roared back to life drove her to nyamira (kisii) drove the following day through narok to nai- ngong, i ve started putting into condition slowly by slowly so far i use her daily to work covering 60kms daily.

* Performance - acceleration, braking, handling are good
* Build Quality - Good reliability for everyday work
* Appearance - both interior and exterior styling are nice for the time
* Cost of Ownership - Diesel mileage - not much economical, maintenance normal wear and tear though parts a bit expensive.
* Fun Factor - never disliked driving it

The best 4x4 I've driven! Takes you anywhere you want as long as you stay on land. Deep snow, heavy mud, highway or suburban driving. It takes you where ever you like. And it does it with pretty good comfort too. Feb 19, 2010

here is my hilux 2" lift on the body 38" tires, 2,4 disel whit big intercooler and turbo from subaru 1800, 3" open exhaust system (home made), driven 280.000 km, orginal diff lock at rear and ARB air lock in the front and two low range boxes. the suspension in the front is from range rover whith coils and I moved the front axel 7cm front. The rear suspension is 4link whit coils and moved 28cm back.Nov 20, 2009

þetta er leiktæki dauðans! þó hann eyði alveg 20+
lítrum á hundraði þá er 3L V6 bensínvélin alveg
yndisleg að leika við. Það er gaman að keyra þá á
svona 38" dekkjum! Minn er reyndar framdrifsbrotinn
reyndar núna og það gengur illa að finna 5:29 kamb
