1st complete redesign under the skin of the original 911.
Heavy yet nimble.
Thrives in bad weather.
Air cooled.
Quick and fast.
Like a '73 RS Touring loaded down driving through Hwy 84 North of Chama, NM, elevation 7,000-10,000.
I owned numerous 911's during the 1980's when a 1973 911RS averaged $23,000 US. Plus the Evex 930 featured in the Sept. 2008 issue of Excellence the magazine. My point being that of experiencing the ride of some very nice 911's.
And now that the kids are grown, eduacated and employed, I chose the 964 C4. Immediately, all those memories reboot.
Buy Silver and a 964 C4

fantastic road/track car, very well build, basic interior, but functional. It's not an everyday car (suspension too hard, seats are not built for comfort & you can really hear the engine noise), but if you get the right road & the right weather conditions, it will guarantee to put a smile on your faceJul 09, 2009

Classic look that will last forever. Love the air cool sound and smell (!!!). The little guy loves to ride in the backseat (he's pretty the largest person that can fit in the back). If you're up for some DIY stuff, you'll be excited to know that maintenance is affordable.Jun 10, 2009
