i bougth this truck 2 and a half years ago ,it belonged to a local tree farm,it had150 klicks on it but not rust to be foundas it was treated every year ,it has the torque, fun ,4.0 liter straight 6 cylinder coupledto a 5speed tranny,it tuff reliable and suprizingly good on fuel due to its light weight,i,m planning on adding the 4x4 and maybe change the motor to a 360 5.9 dodge ,or stroke the 6 cylinder, imputting a 3inch suspension lift plus a 2 inch body kit,i,m putting jeep liberty mags 16inch and mickey tompson off road tires in the35 inch size, but not shure yetApr 21, 2010

it would have been a better vehicle if id gotten it in better condition. very easy to work on but during the entire time i owned it the rear brakes never worked. if you are looking for one id try for the 4.0 more horsepower and torqueApr 02, 2010

Great acceleration, appearance is orgasmic, build quality is unrivaled... Fun factor? It never gets boring... Cost of ownership is dirt cheap! Parts can be found anywhere, and easy to maintain. Easy to modify, easy to drive, easy to love. Jeep Comanche. Feb 26, 2010

full rebuild on every thing. its flat black with no rust or any dents. it has a 4.0L H.O with a 5speed. its decently fast for what it is. off roading its OKAY, it only has a 3 inch lift on it right now but im hoping to get a 6 inch long arm soonish.Aug 11, 2008

492,223 miles on it, paid $1200 4 months ago. It always starts, gets 20 mpg, VERY FUN TO DRIVE....
It will be getting the '01 cherokee nose as shown in pic # 3, and lifted 3 inches to clear some good sand tires. It is 90%fun 10%work truck.Feb 08, 2008

Good performance, decent mileage (as high as 23mpg measured), bullet proof drivetrain (except the 5 speed trans, they tend to fail.) Mine is a 4.0L auto, 2wd that I'm swapping in some 4wd parts for. It's ugly because the bed use to be on a salt truck. But the truck only cost me $150.Feb 03, 2008
