Jaguar outdid themselves with this car, producing only 527 VANDEN PLAS MAJESTICS, and only for the US market in 1990. The classic style, outstanding Regency Red Metallic finish and impressive Magnolia Leather and Burled Walnut interior make it a very impressive show car.Nov 18, 2012

I own 2, 1988 Jaguars and have been very please with both of them over the past 15 years. Most people somehow get the impression they are expensive and hard to maintain, but this is simply not true. If you appreciate quality, durability and longevity with classic style the Jaguar XJ is a good choice. This car was upgraded with the Austrian posi gear set which allows it to easily reach 150+ mph. The original imports into America were limited to about 130 or so. The gas milage possibly could be better, but considering it weighs almost 6,000lb .. 25 Hwy isn't too bad. If you are horsing around town only .. it can drop into the teens tho .. but it's sure fun to drive.Jul 30, 2012
