keep in mind it is a truck, acceleration is decent, brakes are a bit funny, but firm. it handles like a truck. drive train is as reliable as can be, the body is squared and durable. i am personally a fan of the body generation and the interior is holding up much better than my brother's '99. haven't had it long enough to need to fill it up, the odometer is broke at 193,xxx so mileage is unknown. it is definitely fun to drive, even with the 3 speed auto with no overdriveAug 23, 2011

1990 Dodge Power Ram 250 4x4 Standard Cab Long Box 360 cu in (5.9 L) LA V8 (190 HP) 4 Speed Manual Transmission 4:10 Gears I purchased this truck in November of 2006 just prior to my 16th birthday. I always wanted an older style Dodge pickup truck just like the one that my dad owns. Living up in Western New York, I know the extent of salt damage on vehicles from this area. I wanted a nice clean truck and the only way to do this was to find one from out of state. Using AutoTrader online i found this pickup in Los Angeles, CA. After speaking with the owner multiple times and having seen pictures, I purchased the truck unseen for 2,500 and then had it shipped to Buffalo for 1,500. It is a beautiful truck and i absolutely love it. Since i purchased it i have repaired many items due to age and wear and have also added custom options. This truck ONLY sees warm weather in the summer and in early fall and late spring. It has been oil-ed (rust preventative) at Schmidts and will NEVER see salt. My friends say i "baby" this truck but i just want it to last a very long time. It is always washed and waxed. She has just 94,000 miles of which i have put 2,000 on.
