Performance - it's near enough a mk1 golf gti!
Build quality - it's a german car, pretty much bulletproof, although it has needed repairs, it is a 20 year old car, but to be fair the car is still solid!
Apperence - as with all cars each to their own, when it comes to styling, but i have noticed this one grows on you once you've driven it.
Running costs - it use's average fuel for a 1.8 engine, maintainence cost's are low, uprated parts are availible at a relitivly cheap cost too.
Fun factor - is this car fun to drive? i've killed it once and missed it so much it had to have a new engine, what do you think!!!Aug 29, 2009

Performance - This car is quick enough as standard, but after a few light mods it can be very quick off the mark. Handling as standard is fun, but ideally needs lowering on stiffer springs and a lower strut brace added to make the 'grin factor' a bit bigger! Brakes are ok as standard, but again fitted with Corrado G60 brakes as mine is, it stops very well.
Build Quality is fantastic, although the fit on the glove box is a bit out on some cars.
Appearance - this is subjective, but I love the styling personally. Golf reliability with better looks.
Costs - Very easy / cheap to maintain. It doesnt cost the earth to modify the car to a good standard either. Mine has cost £4500 including the cost of the car, maintenance and mods.
Fun Factor - Well, around the nurburgring I had a good laugh. It was quick, responsive and handled the track well. If its Ferrari performance you want - look elsewhere, but if you want a cheap, good looking hatch/coupe that will put a smile on your face - here it is. Jun 16, 2009

It is a compact sized car which gets super better gas mileage than my Jeep, but still looks nice and drives well. It is comfortable to ride in, but the dogs wouldn't fit in the backseat.May 11, 2008
