My last car was a Mercedes GL for which I paid 80k dollars. This is way, way better. Nuff' said but this was the end of the era when style was more than just being acceptable to urban magazine writers. The car has character to accompany its total usefulness. Simple, tough, reliable and cool is what it is.Jul 06, 2013

With its classic looks, if you can find a good one, you will have many people stopping you to talk about the vehicle and reminiscing about there own past experiences with the Grand Wagoneer. It is a perfect vehicle to take on a fishing trip with your Grand Father, Dad or Brother and has a magical way of add to the experience.Sep 27, 2012

This was wagon number 2. I bought this in 2007 but it didnt have the wood on the outside like the first one and it had waterpump problems. but it was a good commuter from my job to San Leandro. had to feel it up with water every mornin and after work. didnt have the space or money to really work on it. So it had to go.Sep 18, 2009

I bought mine off my dad who owned it for the past 8 years. It has 123,000 original miles on it, and the vehicle is basically ALL original. I wasn't too thrilled about owning a vehicle that wasn't fuel injected, but it's fairly easy to work on (a plus) and cheaper to repair than a fuel-injected car. It's really roomy and drives strong in all weather. I will enjoy....Feb 25, 2009

As my first truck, it had enhanced my mechanic skills because I did most
of the work myself.Dec 19, 2007

I bought it used a month ago for 1700. It has just over a hundred thousand original miles on the 360 engine. I've had several four bys, including an older Land Rover, but this thing goes anywhere and everywhere I could want to go. The only thing I didn't like were the small tires; I've put a small lift in order to save the wheel wells, and I'm putting on some 255/70s.Sep 21, 2007
