I bought this car on craigslist for $650- it runs great no problems so far. What I really love about this car besides its cool headlights is how spacious it is inside, trunk wise and how wide all the windows are. Feb 26, 2010

I love my car! It gets about 45-50 MPG on the highway. It has a strong build. The car is perfict. But there were not many built. It being a standerd makes it a realy fun car to drive.Dec 18, 2009

car. It comes in either a 1.6 or 2.0 liter engine variants and
for the time period, had excellent performance with the 2.0
engines producing over 120BHP. There was also a high
performance version sold only in europe and japan with a

This was my baby. I loved this car. It was in all around good car. The only little problem with mine was it had a pretty bad oil leak. No one could tell me where it was coming from and it kept ruining my altenators. I replaced the altenator like 3 times. Everyone kept telling me I needed to get rid of it that it was no good. If I had known I was gonna go through what I went through money wise since my honda I would still have my car! Best car you could ever own! It handled great, had great speed, the interior was emaculate as well as the outside, gas mileage was about 23 - 25 miles to the gallon. Was really fun and exciting to drive.Aug 11, 2009

I love everything about this car. It has power
everything. The performance of the car is ok for the
typical sedan. The exhaust has seen better days so
thats the first performance mod Im doing. The only
thing that I had to fix was the fuel pump.(Thats right I
fix my own cars). The appearance is very good for a
89. The main thing is the faded out trim that Im

I have had the 89 LX for 20 years and I still enjoy driving it. Reliable solid performance and classic lines. Never thought I would end up driving it for 20 years, but it is still fun to drive so why make a payment?Jun 22, 2009

my son's first car out of college. when he moved to japan I bought it for my daughter to drive in high school and college. In 1998 I swapped my 1996 honda for the 89 cause I thought it would be more reliable for her in Atlanta. Eleven years later I am still driving the 89 accord. Except for a few things that have failed like ac, cruise it still runs great, has no rattles or squeeks, and the steering is better than any car I have ever driven. You just point the car where you want it to go and it doesnt wander at all. Amazing for a 20 year old car!! I like this car so much I am even considering a quality paint job with original paint (black with a gold fleck) I know, I know it will cost more than the car is worth in the market but I would completely restore this car (if I had the money)so a good paint job might not bust the budget.Apr 23, 2009

With a 2.0 Single overhead cam engine sporting a 2 barrel carb. Manual transmission, 2 stage NOS, light weight, 17 inch Rims and Low profile tires. 35 miles to the gallon makes it affordable, and the engine can take some serious punishment. I bought this car about a month ago so I still have yet to learn about its quality and everything else.. It is a salvage title, but seems to be doing alright getting me from point A to point B.. It has low miles which is nice.. If it holds up to its full potential for miles, it would be an excellent runner! Although, you never can tell with a salvage, so I'm just hoping it treats me well!May 22, 2008
