this is a 1989 1500hd has a little lift kit. but the 350 tbi is what i loveit has a cam, headers, msd ignition. really sounds mean. big freakin truck.it has an extended cab, 8ft bed, and 2 tv. Black with red leather interior.
November 26, 2009trucks are ALWAYS fun to drive. performance wise,the torque was good enough to haul a 40 foot 5th wheel no issue. braking was pretty good when hauling. gas milage was pretty good. it was a bench seat,which i like in reg. cab pickups(they're good for cuddling and/or sleeping)

April 13, 2008I love my truck its obd 1 code reader which means all you need for diagnostic is a wire and the keys to read, it told me what was wrong with it and I fix it, normally correct,its reliable
June 6, 2023This truck has it all. It's fast, reliable, handles great (for a truck), and can haul anything. My truck has over 358,000 miles on the clock, and shows no signs of slowing down. Even in the city, this truck averages about 15 miles per gallon, which is not too bad considering it has a 350ci V8. I would reccomend this truck to anyone who wants to represend America and all that is awesome.
July 22, 2008Had this truck since I was 15. Very nice first vehicle and just a solid truck. The style of this truck is my favorite, the split headlights and the gauges just have a cool look to them. The seats are typical "ok" comfort but nice and soft even after 24 years. For a truck this old it has had no problems other than a new transmission at 155k. The 5.7l is still the best motor ever and so strong even though its being choked like all 80s cars. All in all is still my favorite vehicle to hop in a cruise around in.

February 22, 2024I have had this truck since I was 16. I love it!!! It as a 350 chevy under the hood with an automatic trans. In my opinion it looks great inside and out, especially for an 89'. This truck is very fun to drive, but I'm hoping to add some more HP soon!!! It gets a lot of looks!!!
July 13, 2008Not a bad pickup. The performance is ok. It is work truck not a street racer. Overall design is pretty good. Its easy on gas. The interior is in great shape although the exterior is a little crappy. Overall it is a good pickup.
September 10, 2010Though this truck has given me quite a few scares and cost me a pretty penny I wouldn't trade it for the world. It is a big old beast and I can see over the top of cars and most other trucks. It IS a gas guzzler but that isn't a problem when you drive 4 blocks to work. Brakes shockingly good for such a heavy machine - and for the most part the engine is strong. I've enjoyed my 4 years and will continue to enjoy many more years with it. Wouldn't recommend it to those that don't like to do small repairs. Worth it to me though!
