I got this as my first car I still own it I got it last year this car does not let you down! idk how many times this car has pushed to saved me when a idoit nearly hits me. amazing breaking very gentle easy car smooth suspension I dont feel a bump lol I get so many compliments or people wanting to buy it off me super clean car paint good no rust at all lucky me this girl has got me safely home when I been driving in heavy snow storms ,rain ,mud, all just fantastic! so fun to drive! best car I have ever bought!Aug 15, 2021

These Camrys are great cars! I used to think 'American cars all the way' but these Toyotas have changed my mind as I have owned three Toyotas, including two gen 2 Camrys. The fuel economy is quite good for doing mostly city driving, excellent for freeway driving as well with cruise control. One complaint I have is the lack of uphill power, even keeping it down in second it struggles up large hills. Manual transmission is easy to drive, great for a first time learner. These cars will run forever, my previous camry had 234,000 miles when it got totalled and this one has almost 170,000 miles and it runs like new aside from a little burning oil from the valve seals.Nov 22, 2011

Overall, this has been an excellent car for our family. She's been wonderfully reliable and has seen us through the raising & learning-to-drive seasons of our children. The visibility is terrific, gas mileage has been good and the versatility of the station wagon has been great. The paint still shines in spite of keeping her parked in the sun. The inside plastic has become brittle & is broken in places, red upholstery has faded where exposed over the years, & the front seats have lost much of their cushion support now. She's also picked up a few rattles & creaks with age, but at 118K miles she still has a lot of life in her.Sep 02, 2011

This car has had only 3 Owners: Toyota has been a reliable car. My thoughts on the performance - acceleration, braking, handling: acceleration: it is fair Power mode gives you a boost. Breaking: Its a heavy car it doesn't stop on a dime. Handling: Steering is tight and responsive Build Quality : Maintained by original owner Appearance: Has some "idiot" dents on the exterior the interior is in great condition. No tears, However missing some covers for the lamps and it came with some odd cover one if its clips are broke. Cost of Ownership To be updated later. One would think I would have a lot to say about this car, since I spent an entire autumn installing a new engine I purchased from a junk yard run by the Yakuza in Richmond, British Columbia. This Toyota Camry LE (which stands for Limited Edition; i.e., only 100,000 of my particular car was produced) was the first car I ever owned that had power windows and locks! It was responsible white on the exterior and smooth listening Lite 105 blue on the inside. It had a 4-speed automatic gearbox coupled to a gutless 4-cylinder engine that made exceeding the speed limit out of the question. It was cheap to insure; cheap on gas; excellent visibility and was very practical (practical pronounced in a nasily voice). Were I an insurance salesman, I would be in automotive nirvana. Yet, I can't think of anything of interest I did in this car other than commuting to work. I actually purchased a Jack-In-The-Box ball for the antenna, because I would constantly loose it in parking lots. Perhaps secretly I was lusting for the far sexier Nissan Stanza. And this is the epitome of Toyota products: they are thoroughly logical, but sometimes I want a car to grab me by the cojones and have a feel. Oct 05, 2009

purchased as a work car I am so suprised how well this car runs yes it is old and knocked about making it ugly but it's very reliable and economical. only repairs;brakes and a windscreen(my fault) not a fast take off but holds it's own over 60kmph. Strong body means not much damage in minor accidents. Seems to use a fair amount of oil and clutch fluid. Excellent first car and an easy car to learn to drive in. Nov 26, 2008
