A 1988 Mini Mayfair with a 120bhp BMW K headed engine. Goes like the clappers, leaks like a colander but i love it. Cheap and the best fun i've ever had in my limited car owership. Currently undergoing a full on resto.Aug 09, 2009

My second Mini which I Miss the most, is the same as my first Mini in nearly every way, but it had a little more go than it's predecessor.
It was fun to drive in the city or countryside, It loved Wales (though the body work hated the salty sea air). and and proved fairly trouble free- Oh the Big Ends went so I had to get a mate to help change the engine. I cost me 4 cans of beer and a pizza to put right, which proves Minis cost nothing to run. Not the most well built Mini- I called the large hole in the front window panel an air vent, to which no one believed me for some reason. The Car I most want back!Sep 11, 2008
