I love the look of the waggy and the ride. I love to drive it on long and short trips. It's hard to compare the experience to modern cars. Yes, it lacks a lot of modern conveniences and isn't as reliable as a new Toyota but it makes up for it in its classic utilitarian style. Oct 27, 2013

I enjoy this car; it is not good on gas mileage but it is beautiful and I get lots of looks when I drive it. Good off roading and sturdy vehicle. Parts are expensive but some companies online specialize in parts. Car is heavy and motor is not really strong enough to offer much power at take off.Jan 04, 2013

I've only had this truck for 3 days so I'm still getting used to it. I love researching what I can restore but this is also my daily car so it can become overwhelming with the amount of work that could be done. its perfect for our adventures that involve our two giant dogs and extra gear. very fun to drive in a totally different way than any other car i've ever owned. Historically i've had manual sporty cars with quick suspension and response. this is a whole different experience.Dec 08, 2011

Outstanding car! I bought a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee in hopes I would find it too would be such a decent vehicle. It turned out to be so riddle with problems, I returned it and sued the dealer for selling such garbage. (Had to sue as the dealer was found to have changed contract terms AFTER the sale!)Nov 20, 2011

my dream car for many years and i finally got one. so far so good having
some battery/alternator trouble at the moment but who cares. interior
needs some work. it is the ultimate cruisin machine. i love it and will keep
it forever. it is horrible on gas. i'm gonna keep working on it so it will
keep going!Jan 23, 2011

Its Big, Its Old, Its Ugly, but it is one cool old Jeep. I remember looking at these things when I was a little kid thinking what the heck is up with the Wood grain. But now I look at it and think Wow Jeep made somthing that really is hard to find now. Dec 22, 2009

Needs new tires, radiator, has exhaust leak, fog lamps don't work, driver window doesn't work, tranny and oil leak, rusted, and gets 12mpg. Damn. Not to mention it's got a 2bbl carb that has to wrestle that big block 360. But... it's equiped with a K&N performance air filter which bumped cfm from 350 to 550, a series 40 muffler from Flowmaster and tachometer to read the rpms. Cd player as well. It does scream going down Church St. at 70mph. It has a top speed of about 75-80mph. I can get it to 90 but the Jeep starts to shake and what-not at those speeds.Sep 02, 2009

This truck is my Baby......perfect interior, very good exterior. The only bad thing I can say about this truck is the gas mileage is not good, but it will run strong and forever. Drove to norther Wyoming from southern Arizona a couple of winters ago, had to use 4 wheel drive in the snow and pulled a big old 1/4 horse in a trailer back home and it ran fantastic, no problems and I hauled xxx all the way! Drives like a dream, beast of an engine, the rocker panel has rusted out other than that its a great car, the interior is just like new from 88 and no cheap junk, requires a little maintenance, its a gas guzzler about 11 all around mpg but thats beside the point, the most fun car ever and its a real looker too.Nov 28, 2008
