I had a burned out headlight and plow light. The temperature gauge doesn’t work. When I turned the defrost on because it was raining and the windshield was fogged up, a lot of dust filled the cab. Later I noticed mice had been living in there. I strongly believe I’ve been getting sick with a runny nose and scratchy throat from the dust I breathed in. It appears a lot of the truck has been repaired or replaced. I have yet to hook up the plow a see if it functions properly. Considering in for years the vehicle will be an antique, I have a lot of refurbishment already behind me. I feel that I got a good deal or I wouldn’t of purchased it. I’m certain it will clear the snow for me for many years.

It has wonderful power, and good handling. It has wonderful build quality,
american built. It has a sleek exterior. The gas mileage is horrible, but on the other

This truck servs me well it is a LWB witch makes it nice for hauling it also draws looks and has plenty of power. I defiantly love the extra lights comes in handy when in the woods or out in a field Mar 14, 2012

This truck has been my constant daily driver for 6 years now. It, for the most part, gives me no problems. it just goes where I want it to. Right now, 12/12/2010, The odometer has 416,167 miles on it. I drove it 140 miles last night. No problems what so ever.

Has decent power stock, but definately needs a cam and vortec heads to open it up, handles quite well for a full size truck, build quality is good, normal mantienance is all it needs, gets good gas mileage as well even with a 350.Jul 31, 2010

hauls more than the new ford f-150 lots of steel heavy definatly not ment for turns cheep truck to own untell you fill it mine is fun to drive because it had a 4.3 v6 now has a 350 in it with a turbo charger on it so im making about 570 hp and 480 ft.lb at the tiresJun 28, 2010

Recieved as a "first car". After changing this vehicle's transmission from a manual to an automatic, I miss the manual. Not because the transmission doesnt work well or anything is wrong with the truck, but because manuals are more fun! May 04, 2010

i beat the crap out of it and died after i abused it for 200,000miles in 2 1/2 years, it regularly go 20 mpg out of a 350 auto and it would follow a jeep anywhere in the woods and it was all stock!Mar 11, 2010

this was a great truck. It pretty much towed a trailer of one kind or another for its whole life.Got rid of it with 300000 on the clock cause ontario winters were getting the best of it.This truck averaged 17 mpg rarely broke down.(one fuel pump,one transmission(probably due to all the towing),one ignition module).The rest just regular maintenance. If it wasnt for the ontario road salt causing it to rot away I would have kept it forever.It still rode and drove good when I got rid of it.Feb 20, 2010

this truck was pretty wore out wen i got it. it had 276000 miles on it b4 i blew the transmision. all in all well worth how much i paid 4 it ($400) it was really loud 2 sounded awesome lol

350 small block 5 speed tranny, 33 inch tires with 16 inch rims. acceleration is great no hessitation fun to drive and throw some mudd never been to stuck. i rev it at high rpms and it still starts up every day Dec 31, 2009

terrible on gas and underpowered 5.7liter v8 . loads of torque
for hauling but thats where the fun stops. don't expect to win
any races chevy built this thing as a work truck in my opinion

she does good brakestands, and sometimes they are posi. shes 4 wheel drive and theres a new rebuilt tranny in it. its a 5.0 (305) efi. i got this truck for free but all the hard work getting it going, made it seem like it wasnt free.Dec 07, 2009

This is a great truck. I have the positrac rear end in it and i love hearin it squeek around those sharp turns in the rain. wish i had the 350, the the 305 delivers a little more gas mileage.Oct 02, 2009

It came with a 305.... Ugly ass rims, and a couple of other things. It's a great truck, hasn't given me any troubles other than losing any damn race that I am in. Great truck for only $2200. Would be great if I could rack up the money for a 383 stroker :) ----- Sounds funnnnnSep 01, 2009

This truck is very similar to mine and it was an excellent truck. I had to finaly give it up because it was tired and needed too much work. I would definatly buy another one and would recomend it to anyone.Jun 09, 2009

well my truck is all stock ... but id say it gets pretty good... umm all the work was done by my father and myself... it is very fun to drive... gas mileage is better than some would think... about 18 mpg... hopefully i am going to be a ble to put a 427 big block Chevrolet in it :)Aug 06, 2008

I love this truck.looks good its clean.stock it handles well drives great.really good gas mileage easy to work on. Xlent project truck to slam.regular maintenance no major work.original paint.stock 4.3 works okay,when new. interior was plain but power stuff is for girls.Very fun to drive.step sides really look custom when lowered.Aug 03, 2008

i bought this after my car, for 1200.00.its got a 305 V8 in it. i ended up putting new prime well muddin tires on it, pulling the tranny and replacing the front and rear seals, put new u joints on the drive shaft, new shocks all way round, put neons on it, and a sound system with 2 10" subs in it. it sucks gas and hauls ass! oh and it has an 800.00 borla exhaust system on it, manifold back system. sounds nicee :)Jul 23, 2008
