I like the style and power of the car, and the looks and comments from other motorist. It's a dream car for anyone looking for a sleek, sporty car with a lot of class and style. The performance on the road is amazing! Jan 16, 2013

I have to let it go. My wife is expecting twins. No More Toys. This is my third one. I had the 1980 928 Ero, stick, 1983 928s2 automatic, now I have the 1987S4 Automatic 32v. I would like to get into a cayenne or R series Benz, but my heart will always belong to the 928. you have to drive one to understand. Sep 05, 2012

This was by far the best car I ever owned... I got rid of it due to some very stressful events just after 2000. But I have a picture of it on my fridge.
...and one day ... I will have another... mark my words.Oct 08, 2009

Fast, refined Porsche with great brakes. Can corner at great speed and feels alot more agile than its 1580 kilos suggest.
Solid build quality. Needed new radiator and clutch- parts are very costly- radiator costs about £1000 (I got mine repaired).
I could get 25-28 UK mpg long distance and around 17-19 mpg short distance. Incredible value for money- to buy and very low depreciation. Cost me £10,400 to buy in 1998 and sold for just shy of £8000 in 2004- why do people waste their money on new cars?
Quite fun- needs an open exhaust- not as fun as a 911 Porsche- not as raw- very refined-except for the intrusive road noise.Sep 21, 2009

it isn't really my car. it is my dad's but since i am not old enough to drive i put it in because it is really cool. it is great around corners and it is super fast. the only bad parts is that the battery dies often and just needs a charge.Jul 11, 2008

WOW! This is my dream car from my teenage years. What a beauty and performance is through the roof.
With modded exhaust, a racing clutch and dogleg shift, it approaches 350 horses and will rock your world. I wouldn't trade this baby for anything.

It was the star in tom cruise's Risky Business. Odd shift pattern but what a sound.

Thought it would be a good idea to have a Porsche for all seasons, the car surprises me as to how stable it is in our horrid winters and surprises me by starting in -40C weather.Jan 30, 2008

Classic to be, the lines grows on you. A true GT car - faster, cheaper and better than a corvette! 310 HP, all leather ad documented service n my ownership.Jan 12, 2008

Overall this was my favorite out of all the cars I've driven up to this point in my life. Its a small 2 door coupe with a lot of pick up and go but also pretty decent gas mileage for a V8. I think I got around 25 mpg on the highway and 20-21 mpg off. Not to mention its one of the rare porsche breeds, after all how many front engine V8 coupes do we see in the porsche world? None. This car stood alone and has got to be one of the best cars that I've ever owned and still do for that matter, its just up on blocks! :p Anyways it has very comfortable bucket seats on the inside with a Bose and Boston Accoustic soundsystem. 17.5" powder coated rims with front and rear ground effects make the car look just look amazing. The car itself sits about 4-5" off the ground so you have to be very careful when driving in the city or you'll bottom out. I also mentioned it had a lot of pick up and go and with the 32 valve V8 it certainly does. I think overall horsepower put out is around 316 at the wheels. Its a very fun car to drive and though the model didn't last that long in production I hear there are plans to re-release it in the near future, which I obviously will be looking into. Its a great car but it can also give you problems such as finding parts that are reasonably priced or finding a specialist to work on it, but with that being said I think if you ever get a chance to drive one, go for it. It's definitely worth the money to keep this baby up and running. I have a great time driving her and I'm sure you will too.Nov 29, 2007
