My Dad bought this car to teach me how to drive a stick shift and we just kept it. It's an excellent daily driver as it gets pretty good gas mileage. It has 213,000 miles on it, but the thing is a indestructible German car, but the maintenance is very costly unless you can do some of it yourself. It's fun to drive. The transmission is in the back and engine in the front which makes for superior handling and performance. This also adds to maintenance headaches. It has back seats, but they are a waste as you MIGHT be able to put a small child or a bag of groceries in them. I would want the seats either pushed back a foot or just cut them out completely. Although, the cargo space is exceptional for a car of its size and caliber. Jun 25, 2008

great car, handles like a dream, could use a bit more horsepower, but is very fun to drive on curvy roadsMay 03, 2008

one of the greatest handling cars ever produced (in my opinion) relatively cheap to buy, but can be expensive to fix. fuel mileage is only so-so.. especiallly for a 4 cylinder car. all worries go away tho with a quick run down a twisty road :)Apr 21, 2008
