I owned a 1987 Chrysler 5th Ave for 14 years and to this day I consider it the best automobile I have owned. Roomy, smooth ride, excellent engine. Car is very quiet and comfortable on an all day drive. This car is in extremely good condition, has no rust and is ready to give you many years of good service. Feb 26, 2021

I hate the 3speed it came with, tourque converter locks up at 40mph, so n this case it drinks gas im talkin 10-12 mpg, really has a rough ride, needs all new springs, horrible gas milage especially since I had the ignition timing advanced. Feb 03, 2012

The acceleration of this car is nothing spectacular, but it did feel powerful and wouldn't ever bog down due to the large V8 under the hood. This car is big so handling isn't great, but has a smooth ride. Since this car is very heavy braking is nothing to brag about either, but as long as the brakes are well maintained, they will get the job done.
The quality of this car is great. The engine is very sturdy and never misses a beat. The transmission is also very reliable. No major repairs were needed to keep this vehicle running.
The gas mileage was on average 17-23 mpg which is what you'd expect from a vehicle of this size with a V8.
This vehicle is a blast to drive. You feel in command of the road. This car has lots of room inside for all your friends.
If you can find this car in good condition with little rust and in good running order, I would definitely recommend this vehicle.Mar 10, 2009

this thing is a tank. it just won't die!! its overall performance is lacking, yet amazing simply because it just won't stop working. its terribly ugly, not rusty, just hideous. it's a very comfortable ride, though. also, it sucks gas like none other. i wouldn't wish this particular car on anybody.Jul 15, 2008

It cost my boyfriend and myself 40$ to acquire this car. It is pretty roughed up from years of teenagers and neglect. Right now it sits in my driveway and doesn't run because of a weak starter, but soon thanks to xmas presents it will have a rebuilt starter and a new thermostat.Jan 06, 2008
