The car you always promised yourself. I've owned 3 capri's in my life, a 1.6, a 2.8i special and now a 2.9 twin turbo. Much money went into this old girl, transforming her from a Turbo Technics 2.8 into what she is today. Ford missed out when discontinuing this car. Tough on them!!!Sep 15, 2008

stunning sporty look, rugged, strong and reliable. although not.. it felt like a real muscle car i loved its solid build quality and its sleak sporty curves. you instantly turn heads when you drive past in a classic car ( even if it is because yours needs a bit off work ) Aug 08, 2008

Best car i've had. Cost me £200 (Bargain) i was a student when i bought it and it was a cool run around. Had it years. In my garage now waiting to be restored. Can never part with it. I own the 1.6 Laser. Which means it has 5 gears for motorway use. The 1600 engine was greatly underpowered compared with its 2.0 litre counterpart. However stick a twin choke on it and get a little more accelaration. Can still spin the back out. Great fun.Jul 26, 2008

this car never got from a to b without breaking down, points had gone, water and oil leak everywhere, battery kept going flat, sunroof handle broke of in my hand, trims kept on falling of, It was off the road more than on, I only had it for 3 months.........AND WHAT A 3 MONTHS IT WAS, wow this car made me orgasam everytime it started, and i watched the power bulge on the 3 mile long bonnet more than I did the road, It felt like jaming with jimmy hendrix to drive and I loved every second of it.. What can I say? Had a lot of fun with this car, happy days! Gave it to my mate Dave who had his Astra nicked. Thats about it really.
Bought it on a whim (me???) for about £100 (Im developing a pattern here) because I was bored of my fiesta. Didnt really need it, just wanted it. I think it was a 1.8 laser. It was a nightmare to park.Feb 20, 2008

great reliable daily driver no rott which is unusual, i loved it, sold it for v8 capri funds with mind t drive v8 daily. but i was 1 year sorting out wankers i5mm pipes that were used for engine oil cooler, this caused a major problem and i had t rebuild engine then i checked out the hidden nasties. serves me right i wanted v8 capri and was blind. pinto was decent motor capri was a real classic ish motor got alot of respect . from peoples dads. grrrJan 28, 2008

i took on the job of re-making the side exit exhaust system, two bike cans on the side with chopped down dtm tail pipes to fit. this is a great car and the owner has had for years, always been a fan of the capri. used by lara lou and the fuel girls for there stage shows.Jan 01, 2008
