Well the older Models have maybe 5 less Sensers on them then the newer Models.Apr 06, 2022

i'm modding in myself making it 4x4, diesel and hoping to get it done soon.
trying to find a cummings for it a dana 60 or 70 for the front end.. cuz its gonna be my work truck and aint gonna buy a new oneApr 08, 2014

this truck has a lot of history with me. It is the way i got to high school and to the partys after. Having a crew cab with 2 full benches and an 8 ft bed means you can put a lot of people inside with a lot of pallets for bonfires. With a 350 under the hood and a 350 turbo hydro tranny there is not a lot slowin me down. The fact that its 2 weel drive keeps me from some places but this truck has gone places where 4x4s cant make it at times. This truck is blue with a rather large dent on the rear passenger door. where i hit a 8 in post. Mar 08, 2010

Performance- Hauling Torque, Offroad ability
Build Quality- Its twenty three years old of course it has some issues
Appearance- Its rough and ready easily put

so its a 86 silverado that my dad bought when i was 7 and i always loved it. it was rusty as hell so we used it as a work truck and mudder. at 15 i started working on it with my dad and i dont have the time to tell u how much stuff i did to it. all ill say is the only stock things are some of the cab, seat, dash, box, frame, diffs, wheels,and glass. it was too much work but it was worth it.

has never failed me only spent 400$ on it so far that includes price of truck lots of torque 320+ft lbs wanted manual though.... needs grille (again) and needs suspension bushingsMar 29, 2008

truck is a Diesel, 6.2 Liter that I bought for 75.00(well my dad did and I stole it from him)
It has no box, one tank leaks, and the truck doesnt start at all.
It needs a lot of work, but it will be a really good towing truck/work truck to use with a Journeyman box as the bed. Thats what Im aiming for.Mar 06, 2008
