Series 3 Spiders have Bosch fuel injection - more reliable than Spica. Most have power steering and A/C is available.Feb 22, 2021

It's basically all summed up above. Overall though? Best /favorite car I have ever owned. Loads upon loads upon years of fun. It keeps going, nothing can kill this car. It has overheated, leaked gallons of oil, engine has been flooded, throttle linkage smashed in a pothole... It always starts running as good as new. I love it. This car is always loads of fun to drive with the top down in the rain and slide around a bit, you get all the looks at stoplights, nobody knows what it is. If you find one and want a toy. This is a very fun car to drive around town in. It's swanky good looks gets a lot of attention. I love almost anything designed by Pininfarina, this car being one of them. It handles well, and gets good gas mileage.Jul 13, 2012

It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow! this is a perfect case in point. Handling is great yet the ride is smooth. This is one of those cars you can work on yourself without getting into real, costly trouble. Nearly all parts are readily available at reasonable cost.Apr 23, 2012

Let's see, it's fuin to drive, espcially with the top down. I have a love/hate relationship with the fact it is only 2 seats. I hate that the parts are so expensive. It drives and handles really well. It is hard for Karl to fit in it comforably ( like all of our present cars) but a prefect fit for me. It's also super cute and everyone looks at it when you drive it ( again not sure if this is a plus)Nov 22, 2009

although on a hot day i'd be nice to have air conditioning D:

Because it is a convertible, there is a lot of flex in the body and squeaks and rattles. No where near the solidity of a hard top but that is expected. Great car for a leisurely cruise downtown.Jan 10, 2008
