Funny... But i loved this car so much even tho it would stall out on me every time it rained ,. but like a champ that it was it would start back up for me the very next day as long as it wasn't raining ,. it only did that when it rained Sep 18, 2013

old car with 47,000 miles on it and it runs like a champ. but
slow. very very slow. it's decent on gas. the car is cheap to
maintain. it is extremely slow and it has decent handling and

I bought this car from my uncle over 2 years ago... it now has 310k miles on it, and i don't see it quiting any time soon... i drive it around 100 miles a day on average, and that doesn't include trips when i just want out of town.. It accelerates wonderfly, wouldn't expect this from a car in it's generation, brakes and transmission work beautifully, doesn't have power steering, but i've never owned a car with it, and after driving my mums toyota, makes my car feel sounder.. I get around 33mpg avg, prolly 29 city, and as much as 40 freeway.. they only complaint is that the timing belt and alternator are extremly difficult jobs, almost requiring the engine to be taken out, and with all those vacuum hoses it's a nightmare.May 24, 2009

this was my absolute first car i got it for my sixteenth birthday by a friend that got if for me it wass tan and i think someone was killed in it however i never did even get it titled in my name the brakes were not there at all even on the way home ,, all good times....or was it?Jul 18, 2008

I loved this car as it was my first. I thought it was beautiful and fast but then again I was 16 and gas cost .95$ a gallon. 9$ a tank was needless to say a bargain for taking road trips. It also saved my life in a car crash.Mar 28, 2008

When my father stopped driving due to health, he gave me his. At this was in 2004 and timing was right as I'd just left a job and had to give up my company car. At the time, the car had just over 65000 miles...since then I've racked up another 20000. Maintenance costs are low, because there are some things I can do (not so on newer cars...need close to a PhD it seems). Additionally, I've had few repairs. It is a great car, rides a little rough because the car is at a point of needing shocks. With gas prices high and only going higher, the Accord gives me a nice alternative to driving my 2003 Explorer.Dec 04, 2007

I own a 1985 Honda Accord hatchback. no power steering. 5 speed manual. My mom bought it new in 1985. After she had her stroke in 1997 I started driving it. Has 185,000 miles on it. I would love to get a new honda with fuel injection and not alot of vacuum hoses. Nice thing about the car ive never had to make a car payment. But, Ive had to spend alot of money keeping it running good. But thats ok i dont' mind. I love hondas great cars. very reliable.Nov 25, 2007
