I bought this car about two years ago (2010) with 52,000 miles on it. Pretty low for the age. At first I did not believe the odometer, but when I drove it, it was one of the smoothest riding cars I have ever driven. After I replaced the ancient tires, it was even smoother. I replaced the brake lines and pads, belt, and battery, and maintain it regularly and it has given me around 30,000 miles of trouble free driving in two years. I drive over an hour and a half every day averaging 400 miles a week. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country and back tomorrow! It is comfortably cozy with a one child family, but if another child comes along I would have to get something a bit bigger. Handling is tight, for an American car that size, and I average around 25 mpgs. Oh, and that V-6 is torquey! I can beat anyone off the line at a stoplight...but they catch up with me around 25 when the bottom drops out...overall a great perfoming and driving car, though. If I could find them, I would buy a fleet of them! I am also impressed at how well it gets around in the snow. No contest the best snow car I have ever driven. ( jan 2015 Update--I not longer have this car--head gasket blew out, which is a common issue with the V6. It would have been a cheap fix, but with a new kid, I did not have the time to do it. If you do get one of these cars, I would recommend being able to do major engine work, just in case)Jun 26, 2012
