A typical 1980s American car. Lousy handling in any weather. Anemic 2.5L 4-cylinder engine, well under 100 hp. Nothing the slightest bit interesting about the styling. The only good thing I can say about it is that it's a great car for a reckless teenager. I was one of those when I had this car. I once got it up to 85mph, but that was downhill with a tailwind. Reliability was not the worst, but not great either. Transmission needed a couple replacements. Various other faults... in the end the car lasted until about 1994, so it wasn't that bad, I guess. This was a fantastic car, aside from the 3-speed transmission that lost all forward gears the second day I had it. The bucket seats and full center console were a nice bonus, as was the Landau Roof.Dec 08, 2007
