Lots of get up and go, not much top end. Geared for city driving. Very low maintenance. Fuel consumption varies with road conditions and driving style. Fairly responsive steering. For a wagon it's surprisingly fun to drive. Difficult to find model-specific parts. Great conversation piece as well.May 11, 2012

Low mileage an amazing 70,147mi.Haven't found another like it.ANY WHERE!!307 V-8 I'm the second owner.I paid $1,100.00 Handles and stops, drives amazing. New engine parts include;water pump, alternator, heater core-blower, carb.,thermostat, intake manifold, valve covers, oil and trans pan gaskets. No leaks.under car has new brake, fuel lines, new rotors, drums, backing plate and hard- ware.I stole/car 4 only paying $1100 Light blue metallic w/white strips on hood.'91 Firebird wing on roof,{sweet} Limo-black windows,50-series raised white letter radial rear,60 series raised white letter radials front.wrapped around chrome american racing rims.{They are actually truck rims}Interior is mint except headliner which is getting blue vinyl wrapped w/flames cut into foam. All the chrome is mint or replaced. And glass also. Only rust is by the fuel door but it will will be fixed by spring '09 Someone broke pass side grill when I was at wall-mart even though I parked all by myself at the end of the parking lot! Still A "ONE-OF-A-KIND" no doubt about it........ A true HEAD TURNER............. OH..!! And still gets 20MPG.highway..and about 13-16 in city depending on,if I get on it at a light to let the dual exhaust ROAR..which comes out just before the rear tires. OH!!YEA!! Dec 19, 2008

Well, it is a 1982 Oldsmobile Diesel "Custom Cruiser" wagon (it's the fullsize wagon based on the Delta 88, similar to the Chevrolet Caprice, Pontiac Safari, and Buick Estate Wagon of the same year). It's a project in the works (needs a transmission rebuild, so I'm installing a Turbo 350 transmission while I rebuild the TH200-4R "overdrive" unit for better fuel economy). YEAH, It's a now rare 350 cubic inch DIESEL! With the overdrive transmission, it is easily capable of over 30mpg highway (with the 3 speed auto, it can achieve the high 20s/low 30s). Best of all, it is a potential candidate for BioDiesel or Vegetable Oil conversion. As for appearance, it's a bit rough right now (paint is dull, woodgrain is all but faded into oblivion ....but the Oldsmobile Diesel badge is intact, and so too is the engine).Jun 14, 2008
