Acceleration is crap, brakes are good but handling is the best. It has never needed much work on it since I put it on the road again after 10 years in a wet garage. Now it is only taken out in the sun. I refuse to take her out in the rain because she is mine!!! Plus, it only ever sunshines here in France!!! ;-p Jun 15, 2009

bruce the chevette was my amazing 1st car, loved it, handled fantasticly, even though it was rear wheel drive, was the only car ive had which i could lie down in the back (say no more!) was faster than it looked, left many boy racers behind! ripped apart a house hold stereo to get some decent speakers for him!great body, i managed to knocl down a gatepost in him and he didnt even get dentd!! he sadly died coming back from whitby! The sills ruster out, the inner wings rusted out, the suspension needed to be replaced, and I blew 2 engines. It was an absolute dog of a car.Dec 22, 2007
