After a 23 year wait, I finally got the car I wanted as a child. I was a BTTF kid, but took it much further than most. After handling a few very well known issues, the cars are dependable, reliable, and durable. A huge support network for parts and tech assistance is readily available. Well tuned models provide fuel economy as good as or better than its original predictions (which were 19mpg city/29mpg highway for a manual transmission) It should be mentioned it is not a car for everyone. It strictly seats two. It has manual steering. It grabs attention, whether you want it or not. The drivetrain does not live up to the expectations of its appearance. It is as close to being a celebrity as I wish to be. You may find yourself arriving late because you get approached at gas stations and in parking lots. You will answer "Where's the flux capacitor?" at least once every outing.Nov 01, 2008
