My friends all drive newer cars, so, the heck with them. I'm always looking for someone to share my auto interests with. Haven't done so well. My car is a fun car to drive. My father bought the car brand new for my mother. If was a hand me down when my father passed away.Dec 01, 2010

I owned a 1981 Chrysler Cordoba Corinthian? This was my first car, well I guess the first one I got to drive legally with insurance/registration. The Car had a weak 318 in it with automatic trans it was sluggish though because it was worn out i think 400k km on her. I drove her daily for a year before she started taking oil into the breather and the brakes/diff went at the same time. But the car was a real beauty in her day even though its weak 140hp/250ftlb engine and standard auto trans, you could get pretty much any option you wanted on these mine had, ps, pb, leather interior, cruise, power drivers seat, power sun roof and rear defroster. You really couldn't go wrong with the styling, a typical big elegant mopar that smiles at you, it has box like lines a cowled hood and huge doors, nice roof line, the brake lights look really cool also, they're huge. I used to like drifting the car because she steered like a champion but it would barely bust out on ashfault because of the crappy 318. Would've been a Sick car with a 383/406 (biggest you can go without new mounts) and a new rear end. I miss her! oh yea forgot to mention they are smooth as hell on rough roads. (for a big old car)Nov 29, 2008
