1980 Saab 900 Reviews, Pricing & Specs

May 1980: My 1st Saab, a 900T 3-dr has been a incredible experience and I will never drive another brand of car. The power, design, unique lines, and reliability are just the beginning. Ive never had a better car in the snow than my 900T, and in the summer with the sunroof open I can spend hours driving anywhere and I always get asked where did you get that, what is it, how much do they cost, and what do I have to do to take it for a test drive.....Jul 15, 2023

this GL spec (low spec) 900 non turbo did not have power steering, hatches are not as pretty as sedans IMO, but looks are individual and eye catching nontheless. Performance was pretty average, build quality was very very high though. Cost of ownership of saabs has always been a little higher than UK vehicles (in fact any imported car will be), and on this spec, the fun factor is limited, but it was a very capable lugger and runabout for many many years.Jan 10, 2010
