so much fun to drive and corners like on rails. got fully adjustable suspension all round. engine upgrade, full exhaust system. k&n. reclining bucket seats, custom interior (includes seats, dash, and rear speaker board) full pioneer system (6x9's, 5.5", headunit, ipod connections) and full respray, new alloys and chrome work replaced.

February 26, 2008In my 1983, not 1980 mini the performance is alright, not a proper little rocket but close enough. The all round drum brakes aren't as good as modern cars obviously but they do the job. Being a BL car build quality isn't its strong point!! Even so, I havent needed to replace many things. Being a Mini it looks lovely on the outside. The interior isn't bad either. This is the best car I have ever drove. Such a great car

November 6, 2010of course I love it, I build the little bastard! bigger engine, bigger everything basically and coming to a road near you as soon as i get it an MOT. awesome fun to build and drive and i can't wait to give it a road test. It's got more character than disney
June 14, 2010Performance, not bad for what it is Build quality is fine, few rattles, but nothing has fallen off. Appearence good, wasn't really designed to look gd tho Cheap to insure, and drive Possibly the most fun car! You cant beat it
August 12, 2009the performance of the car is lacking by modern standards although it is a 50's design but its a classic,and a winner in my book, with a funfactor of ten out of ten! with low runnning costs, but general maintainance is needed on a monthly basis.
November 25, 2011This was my first ever car and I regret ever selling it (as one week later it was destroyed by the new owner!). My dad used to race mini cooper's and helped me 'do' this up as a cooper lookalike. This involved adding 4 Hella spotlights, the white decals, alloys, chrome exhaust and a roll cage just in case! It was great looking but not practical at all (crap heater, useless boot, no leg room, shoddy winderwipers). I would love to own one again though!
March 5, 2008great car, good fun to drive and looks great. feels like a big go kart. build quality is below average but thats part of the fun, having to fix it. wouldn't recomend as an everyday car but everyone should have one.
April 18, 2009Slow as standard. I've changed the engine (Downton 1310cc), Gearbox, Suspension, Brakes, Bushes etc. Added racing seats & rollcage & it's much more fun to drive now ;) Only problem is I broke it in 2003 and it's been off the road since... Hopefully will be back driving soon!
August 22, 2009My first ever car was a Mini. It was a terrible car but it gave me some independence. Terrible brakes, manual choke but very easy to park.
