I don't know what it is about this car. I have owned a number of them over the years. It seem that no matter what I have for a daily driver, I always have a rx7 (1st gen) as my week end fun car. If I have a crappy day at work I come home hop in and take my aggression out on the throttle.
It is so predictable on the road, it does what I want, when I want, with no surprises. Other than the fuel bills.
Also this car is the mother of drift racing. It all started with this car. Look it up!

still owen it. Over 200,000 miles on it. Who say that rotatys aren't reliable? And it still runs 17.2 sec quater miles. That is what it did when it was new according to the books.Mar 16, 2008

It's Beautiful with the E6 Beat/charcoal Black paint! It has a 13B 1.3L Rotory Engine with a
Holly 550 Four Barrel Carb, Jacobs Ignition and all Emissions system removed.

Interior is black, has subaru wrx seats, custom grey rx7 door trims. spray job is like dukes of hazards orange. performance wise goes pretty good. it has a 13b extended mild port rotary engine, likes to have a drink. impression is sexy!!! go the old mazdas! Jan 18, 2008

Owned it yonks ago when I was still a student...loved the fast acceleration and sound it makes. Car was a little light though, which means more concentration on handling when driving. Overall, it was a beauty for a car that was almost as old as me!Jan 13, 2008
