I bought this truck new but if I were to buy another older Ford pickup, I wouldn't hesitate to look at and probably buy another one of these 1970's pickups. I would like to get a 2wd shortbed this time as mine is a 4wd longbed. Overall, I think it's the best truck Ford ever built, Definitely built Ford Tough !!!Aug 02, 2012

Mild 351 clevo, 4 speed manual. Long wheelbase, plenty of power, can carry and/or tow anything you want. We bought the truck for towing my cars and the wifes horses around, I ended up driving it to work half the time!Jul 29, 2011

Ugly as sin, but it will make for a fun Redneck beater to haul hay. Hope your not expecting any kind of luxury like air conditioning or a cup holder, because there are not any in the vehicle to speak of. Sep 07, 2010

this is my project its currently in my garage without a box or gas tanks, waiting for someone to buy the drivetrain so I can start working on a new one! when the old one is gone, body wiring must go! This will be my first ground up restoration and I'm hoping to share this experience with my son and his mother, who is into body work as I am into performance and other stuff as well. Nov 26, 2009

its name is tigger. Its orange and black, and bounces all over the place on bumps. I'm not the one who really named it, but i love it and the name is perfect and will stick forever. And of coarse, its a standard.Nov 06, 2009

Wouldnt trade this for the WORLD! got this in 07 and never looked back! i LOVE everything bout this truck. GREAT body Style, Great engien (351m) EASILY modifiable. has a lift, 36 inch military tires, lightbar, cb, flatbed (has dumpbody but disconnected it) STRONG drivetrain, np205, c6, had to do repairs here and there and chargein system wireing nightmares but that was juse my luck. kept replaceing alternators untill i replaced the chargeing system wires and havent had a problum since. planning to work the exhaust a little. and throw on a 4bbl.Nov 03, 2009

532 cubic inches, 39.5 boggers, 9" lift, detroit lockers, C6, 5000 stall, NP205 tcase. Built for mud racing, gotta love the smell of C12 race gas in the morning!! And nothing beats the sound of a big block ford screaming at 7000rpm.Aug 07, 2009

I never had any issues pulling anything that I could attach something to. The brakes were adequate though when pulling large loads it was more efficient to down shift than to mash the brakes (which of course is common sense). It was a solid truck that had typical rust and wear from being used as a truck and not a car with a bed. I loved the way it looked and all of the 'personality' marks my truck had. The interior was the typical styling for the time it was built. It was an absolute blast to drive this truck and the loud true dual exhaust with cherry bomb turbo 2 mufflers rumbled like thunder especially under overpasses.Dec 31, 2007
