I love everything about this car but I live in the mountains and we get snow. So the lack of four wheel drive is something that I can't afford to have. I adore driving around and every time you stop at a gas station someone says "Wow! Look at that car!" An amazing car for everyone who likes driving a little on the wild side ;)Jan 31, 2015

What I liked about this car is, its easy to work on and the part are not hard to find, nor are they expensive. It's not that I didn't like the care, but I don't have the time to work on it. Its been sitting in my garage for 2 years. I do Take it out more in the Spring/ summer.Jan 08, 2015

It is an addiction..Buying update parts and accesories has been my favorite past time. I really enjoyed getting that pininfarina hard top, expensive but cool..! The original rag top wasnoisy and leaky. Hard top has been a nice update. The wheels are very small. Furthermore, I have tried to get bigger wheels without any luck. It isa great fun carOct 17, 2012

I feel Fiat built cars that were ahead of there time with things like dual overhead cam engines, weber carbs, four wheel disc brakes, fuel injection...The 124 Spider convertible is a real head turner as far as its styling inside and out. The gas mileage is good even with the pedal full throttle however maintenance is very costly. FIAT does stand for "Fix It Again Tony"! However if you are mechanically inclined than this car is fun to drive.Apr 01, 2010

I loved it and will have another some day. It had beautifully formed sheet metal and was very easy to get in trouble with it. The car handled exceptinoally well considering that I was unable to maintain it at the time.Sep 21, 2009

It is almost done, but is still a work in progress. It has the stock engine, stock everything. It is a great price and is a budget friendly project. Very fun to drive it. I wouldn't trade it for the world.May 24, 2009

*took off the stupid bumpers, in Alberta Canada I am dead anyway should i get hit. (lots of 3500sized pickups here)
*spent $6000 on the suspension new sway bars front and rear, new a arms, new shocks and springs, an inch or two lower then stock. WRX tires. handles like its on rails!
*imported slotted n drilled brake rotors from an F1 supply company in Italy
*HID lighting
*Hella driving lights
*rocking stereo, high end eclipse deck, Boston acoustic speakers powered by an amp...no sub woofers.
* thinking a Honda S2000 engine? but im still taking suggestions. prefer the character of the original, especially the burbling and spitting on overrun when downshifting.
*roll bar
*great lightweight track day car i drive every day in summer!Aug 10, 2008
