This car was a piece of J-U-N-K! Bought this in High School and it had so many issues (of course I learn about after buying) Essentially, the electronics were shotty, and I blew the engine. Replaced the engine,spending way too much money on it. Should have never even bought this or should have dumped it when then engine blew. Sorry VW lovers, but this one was CRAP!Jan 09, 2008

i bought the car about 2 months ago with 50,000 miles and i put apx. 2,000 more miles on it the only problems i had with it is the battiry died and a gas leak nothing major for a 29 year old car now its gonna need a muffler but over all i love the car and i would buy another oneNov 22, 2007
