My car is actually a 1978 w-123 300D, only it
doesn't appear in the list, its a great piece of
machinery, it drives more smoothly than most
modern cars and its very spaceful, it is extremely
comfortable and can be very fun to drive! I get
30km to the gallon and the great thing about it is
that the shocks and all kinds of repairs last a very
long time, even treating the car a little roughly. my
car rocks!Jun 19, 2009

yea, this car is responsible for the great reputation of Mercedes.
and I'm telling you, I'd buy one again (I didn't really own one, friends
bought one and we shared for a time).
Just look at it! how more automobile can a car be? everything is in the place
where you'd expect it, no gadgetry. just pureness. and it's a fantastic comfortable ride too.Feb 21, 2008

Good to start with oldtimers, fair maintenance price, a lot of original parts still available, looks good on the road, very enjoyable to drive (automatic), and the next logical step would be Jaguar XJ-6 (mid 70).Jan 24, 2008

Great classic car with classic good looks. Almost everywhere I went in this car a stranger
would strike up a conversation about it. The car was strong, solid, and reliable, but lacked
seriously in the performance department. Not very fast, and not the best handling, but some
of that could be due to its age. Regardless, I still enjoyed every minute of ownership, there's
just something about driving an old Mercedes...Jan 03, 2008
