first vehicle purchased, bought used, drove this car for almost 4 years, had very
good performance 8 cylinder vehicle, 2 door, dependable for first couple of years,
but after a while, the fuseable link would keep shorting out, at the time, worked a
a Ford dealership, which was great. Then after a while got tired of the ugly beigy
color they came in and traded that in for 500, so really paid 850 and drove this car
for about 3-4 years so it only cost about 350Feb 06, 2013

I bought this car as a family car with a four cylinder engine and a four speed manual transmission. Went through a clutch at 50,000 miles. The four cylinder actually had a higher horsepower rating then the six, but you could have fooled me! Car handled well and the back seat was large and comfortable. the trunk was very large. The car was so low on power that it slowed down when the air conditioner was turned on. Sep 08, 2012

Built it myself...its pretty sweet. 93 Mustang Cobra suspension. Trying to eliminate the chassis flex now, it wheel hops pretty severely. Built the motor and transmission myself and installed them over the winter. Gained 6 mpg by swapping the 200 I-6 for the 302 V-8Apr 05, 2012

It's a drivers car. On gas so its cheap to run, has a bunch of performance gear so it does have a lil bit of go behind it. A nice set of 18" rims and a low stance give it a real nice look. Havin a tow bar is very handy, n ive got the good gear. The moon roof is a big hit and is great for summer. With the big sound system and neat lil changes inside, it makes 4 1 sweet ride. What can i say, EL's r a sexy lookin' machineNov 26, 2008

They don't build em like they used to thats for sure. While it may not have been the fastest, it sure was a tank. This car took it all from jumping curbs to getting shot with a pellet gun to the occasional fire. I wish I never would have sold it. I still see it runnong around town today. A lot of memories some good ( full bench front seat :-) ) and some bad ( missing teeth in flywheel, thank you Ford for making the bolt on the crank pulley the same size as the lug nuts).Sep 05, 2008
