Love the hd upgrade components that are on this model. The 250 is still running strong and purring. Wish more cosmetic upgrades for this year.Sep 11, 2022

Looks nice, and other people like it. I will not likely ever show it but its fun to take to shows and short trips. The mileage and the road noise is pretty bad and with no A/C is not fun on really hot summer daysMay 17, 2014

I first fell in love with the wide, intimidating grill & flashy color. Upon first getting the keys & hearing her engine come to life, I knew she would be just the one to make my mark on the town. The beautiful style, performance power, & easy engine access for maintenance made her a great first project/weekend truck.May 14, 2014

Its got plenty of power. its a little slow on acceleration. brakes dont use them much
just my foot to the floor. it has got great handling. i had to put a new bater cables
on it . got to have a new tie in rod thats it.you will probably send about two
thousand a mouth on gas an maybe 500 dollars a year on parts. the truck is fun to

it was a 600 dollar truck. 4x4 4 spd and a 350. was two different shades of green. i had a wood wing window in it. it ran great. i drove over a cop car with it. i really regret selling it.Jul 12, 2010

I'd Say It Had About 325or more horse power, it has excellent acceleration, brakes need minor work, handling is awsome also. we had to rebuild the rear end not to long ago. Appearence is not a factor, its kinda sorta good on gas if you dont give it hell. its my favorite vehicle to drive.Mar 22, 2010

In the middle of restoration, currently building a 383 stroker for the truck. It runs in primer gray right now. Bought it for $500 and have currently put almost $1800 into the truck. It is a bomb, love the thing, go buy one.Nov 24, 2009

loved this truck, would get another one. It sucked gas like none other but it was worth it. Duel exhaust with no kats or mufflers...LOUD and proud. Very nice paint and interior. It had a 305 with an edelbrok carb.Jun 29, 2009

This is an old truck that will never die. It has been in a wreck with a 90's mustang, and it got a cracked marker lens. Great work truck. However, it only has a L6 with a 3 speed, which ensures its longevity, but makes interstate driving a mostly avoided practice. Not going to win any beauty contests either. But a truck built like they don't don't build them anymore!Feb 21, 2009

these old trucks are amazing. they hold their value good and i love to drive it. i think they look good too. the smallblock chevy v8s definitely have some power. and nothing sounds better than an american v8. i am thinking about putting a supercharger on mineDec 19, 2008

I inherited my grandfather's truck, a green/white long bed regular cab with around 65,000 miles. It was my first vehicle, and I was a clueless teenager who didn't care very much about the things that I owned, so eventually it succumbed to my neglect. However, it never left me stranded, always started up fine and was taken on many long trips, and didn't need any serious repairs for the 5 years or so that I owned it. For a late '70s Detroit pickup hampered with badly designed emissions control equipment, it performed quite well and got decent gas mileage (by decent, we mean 12 city/17 highway). There is really no situation where I would buy another, but it was a really good first vehicle and exactly what I needed at the time.Nov 22, 2008

Truck was awesome, however it needed some work. The pick up has plenty of potential. The truck would look great lifted or dropped but i just did not have the money to work on it. It was a bench seat not much room for passengers, but it was still a great truck. Engine was never rebuilt. Poor truck needed a tune up badly.Sep 05, 2008

Far from stock, with a bored out big block 454, full length headers, race cam, medium high rise intake, and Holley 750 double pumper, this truck definately turns heads. The interior is in immaculate condition, with 40/20/40 bench seat with fold down center console, all tan. The hood is a Harwood Fiberglass 3" Cowl Induction.Mar 20, 2008
