Tons of torque from the 400 2v, but not much on the high end. This truck will
pull anything, and it wasn't made for those fuel economist people, so if your
one of those mostly Un-Americans, please keep your distance from this truck.
It's all original from the factory except for the wheels and the stereo. the
engine and trans are ORIGINAL, only things in them different are the fluids in
them, and the plugs, and yet there are no problems, these trucks and cars
were built in a different time when things were made right and lasted a while.
Great launch in a race but they may come around you when you hit 3rd gear.Aug 09, 2010

The Silver bullet as i like to refer to it, was fun truck. It was a loan from my grandpa for a while until I could get a different vehicle. The truck was pretty much bare bones with heat. the old fashioned dial radio worked. This truck took snow ramps in parking lots very well. We called it the silver bullet because my gradpa painted it a very highly reflective silver. Aug 23, 2008

This truck was beat up when my parents bought it. It was a work pickup for driving around town, nothing else. The engine had poor compressions, and every fluid leaked. It wouldn't idle when it was first started until it was driven hard, and I have no idea why. But never had to replace the muffler, I guess because no exhaust ever got there.Mar 18, 2008
