I bought the Alfredo for cheap not knowing anything about car maintenance, driving a standard, driving in general (my first car, I had just got my license), and where the damn trunk release was. It was a disaster. The turn signals didn't work so I was driving in February with my frozen arm hanging out window while angry commuters behind me honked and flipped multiple birds in my direction. I was grinding gears, fiddling with some electric deathtrap dangling below the steering wheel trying to get the turn signals to work, and going 12 mph under the speed limit. Why so specific? When at a standstill I discovered my car didn't like single digits so it said I was doing ,you guessed it, 12 mph. I would pump the gas like a fiend to start it in any weather below 600 degrees Fahrenheit and I would then have sit there and keep the revs at 2000 for about as long as it would have taken me to walk to the diner, have a sandwich, walk back, clip my toenails, and hang myself for buying such an evil abomination. I cursed it, myself, and especially the fine, lovely gentleman who sold me that Satan-red Hell demon. I wanted nothing more then to get rid of it and finally have a normal, sensible car like everyone else. I wanted a car with a/c and heat, a radio that played music, TURN SIGNALS, and a transmission that respected my hand's input. I thought all these things until the top was down and the weather was warm. I would put my foot to the floor and feel an electricity race through my skull, the shifter would rattle my bones through my hand and the bugs on the windshield would be sucked away by violent winds. I would double clutch into fifth at something over 90 mph and remember ol' Alfredo may have been a malicious fiend but he was still my friend when life off the road gave me the finger. Love him. By the way, that aforementioned electricity may have just been that dangling electric deathtrap zapping me in the knees but hell, whatever gets the job done.Mar 07, 2014

Fun Italian convertible, DOHC 4-cylinder, fuel injected, 5-speed transmission. Lots of fun to drive, and it got plenty of attention (the right kind!). Pretty quick, not a drag racer, but the Ansa exhaust system sounded pretty good on it too!Aug 16, 2010
