Fun Car. This little gem took my friends and I all over the German countryside in my youth, we ran the dog snot out of it and had to spend quite a bit of marks to keep it running but it was well worth it. Feb 21, 2012

simple fast and trustworthy very aggressive not for beginners but it was my first
high speed car it was fun to drive it but in rainy days the defrost system wasn't
good enough and car never liked the rain on asphalt had a tendency of sliding the
back extreme caution must be payed on wet roads but the car made my college
years remembered ones....Apr 10, 2010

Ok, this car is a restoration project, so it's not in the best condition. The general impression that I get from other people is, people over 30 love it and people under 30 hate it. I know it looks pretty bad but it is a ton of fun to drive. It is a completely different experience from newer cars. It runs really well and the 0-30 mph is pretty impressive. It has a 1.5 liter 4 banger with a Webber double barrel 32/32 carburetor. I used to have a 32/38 carburetor on it and it was a lot more impressive. This car has 296,800 miles on it.Feb 04, 2008

You really have to drive one to know what its like. Forget all that numb drive-by-wire crap with newer cars, you can actually feel what you're doing in a 2002.Feb 02, 2008

This car is amazing. Easy to work on, a plethora of factory and aftermarket parts available! The car stock is very nimble and fun to drive. Modded its even more so.Jan 12, 2008

It was the 2002 Tii which I drove. It looked such an old banger of a car but it ain't half scared the living day light out of me as it can hit 0-60 in 6 seconds.Jan 08, 2008

Bought it over spring break '07. It was restored, repainted, and heavily modded with a Metric
Mechanic 2200 engine and Weber dual downdraft 40/40 carburetor. There was a nice
Rockford Fosgate amp put in along with a nice stereo with custom speaker holes and four 8"
speakers in the back that act as subs. The interior was completely re-done with tan fabric
recaro driver and passenger seat and matching rear benchDec 30, 2007
