It was a wonderful machine, but the bodywork was lousy and I had to redo the interior (vinyl) seats because they were made out of defective material. But you see it was pre-emissions so it was eady to work on. I took the valve covers off (it had dual overhead cams). The engine was the same one in a Lancia Beta Scorpion.Aug 10, 2009

My Fiat 124 spyder was my first car. It came as a project and needed lots of work but eventually was done and painted Ferrari red. They are great looking cars, especially with the early chrome bumpers. With cams, and hi-comp pistons they'll go like crazy. Reliability wasn't too bad, lots of fun.Jul 03, 2008
