Right…..the story of "Honey Brown", my 1974 Dodge Charger, where do I begin? I’ll start at the beginning; this will help you understand why it’s hard for me to part with it. When I was 12 years old my brother was going away to college and my parents bought him a 1971 Black on Black Leather Charger with Cragar Rims, Slick 50 Mag Tires, “The Works” my jaw dropped and I told him to take care of this car so I could have it…of course a year later he crashed it in a ditch and I never saw it again. I promised myself that one day I would by my own…On September 7, 2004 I won her on eBay from Cocoa Beach Florida. Dec 31, 2011

Installed a 440 Police Interceptor. Black on black with a color change stripe. 5 spoke mags. Very Fast. This car would run at 120 mph all day. This car was the definition of a gas guzzler. This car took a lot of abuse.Feb 13, 2010

have a few engine probs, when old engines (like the one thats in it) made by mopar get some miles, they smoke like a freight train. shes got a 440 mag stroked to 500, and handles like a 57 chevy because its so heavy. she gets about 8 1/2 miles to the gallon, so she dont hit the road very often.Aug 01, 2008

Very fun to drive. Nice loud and powerful 440. With the Brogham Edition interior in the SE model, it has power windows, AM/FM, factory sunroof, center console w/ a 727 automatic transmission. Yes, filling up a 20 gallon tank gets expensive, but you get a lot of joy out of each gallon. I've had this car for over 12 years now, and I don't know if I could ever part with it. Jul 29, 2008

My 16th birthday present. It is currently not running as the stupid external voltage regular crapped out and fried the battery and alternator. Will get it running again someday. Mar 30, 2008

Didn't have a ton of power with a 318 and a/c but it was decent.Handled great with 60 series tires on the rear and 70s on the front.Air shocks got the rear up.Hedman headers ,Thrush glass packs, and a true dual exhaust made it sound awesome, especially once the packs burned out.Traded it for a 84 Shelby Charger in 84.Mar 20, 2008

I was asked to take a drive in a friends 1974 Dodge Charger. This car was incredible. He has all sorts of modifications that he's added over the year. It literally feels like a rocket ship taking off when he floors it off the line. I absolutely love how it drove and can't wait for him to ask me again ... assuming he will.Sep 22, 2007
