Love the old style. Would like to get it completely redone. The simplicity of these older trucks is cool. I wish they would make them again. I don't need all the stuff on a truck. It drives like it's floating on air. That is hard to get used to. It's red.Mar 02, 2014

It ran and was cheap...first high school vehicle. Virtually unbeatable in a straight line (ran equal to 1990 Ford Mustang GT). Cheap to maintain. Fun to drive, especially on snow/ice and on rainy days. Frequented gas stations often.

Performance - I've put an Edelbrock Performer
intake and 600 cfm carb on it along with MSD
Ignition and a .500 lift Comp Cam. I installed a
detroit TruTrac locker with 4.11 gears in the 9 inch.
Build Quality - ... It's built FORD TOUGH!
Appearance - It could use a paint job but I love the
way my truck looks! I've put a set of 15" SS Cragar
wheels with spinner caps.
Cost of Ownership - It's a project truck. For fun.
You don't put a cost on that,
Fun Factor - I have a blast with it!Oct 07, 2008

This truck is built to last. It hasn't recieved the best of care, but it still works. You could pull a tree out of the ground with it (and we have, it wasn't a little tree either). It's towed a sizeable travel trailer, a boat, other cars, a farm tractor, and pretty much anything you can imagine. It's not pretty, but it works great, even after 35 years.Jul 04, 2008

Performance is hurting right now, blew a cylinder out somehow on the
way up here, haven't had time to take it apart and figure out what it
needs.May 18, 2008
