This car was the epitome of what people would look for 20 years later. Luxury and pwerformance. Car was as quiet as any car in its day yet. Seats were as comfortable as anything else on the road. Car had the most beautiful lines. Looked sporty as well as luxurious. Best of all, was the "machine gun" exhaust tips. Gave the car a rough and tumble look too. Should have never sold it.May 19, 2012

This isnt my fastest car but the 440 makes a wonderful sound! I built this car to be a nice cruiser so it has a highway friendly rear diff-The build quality is improving with every restoration I do-the paint and bodywork are nearly flawless as are the interior and pretty much everything else on the car.
This particular Charger is the smoothest riding muscle car Ive ever had-even more so than the other Chargers Ive owned.Jan 04, 2012

Performance wise this car is heavy and large-Despite this it 0-60's in 6 flat thanks mostly to the built 340 that will get replaced with a 440 next summer
Disc brakes stop the car very well-ride is smooth and comfortable-Ive had to rebuild nearly everything on the car over the last ten years but I shouldnt have to do much mechanically unless I want to for another 10 years:0)Oct 23, 2011

I like the 73 charger, It has legroom up the wazoo! I'm 6'4" and that means a lot to me. The 440 pads the package.Currently has a 12.5:1 906 heads,509 292 108' 727 with 411 gears. can't pick a paint for it though and that part is getting closer Apr 24, 2010

Great styling for those that can appreciate real American classics. Started life as a grocery getter 318 cid, auto trans. Will be putting a gas guzzling 440 cid power plant as soon as possible. Tree huggers beware. Back to the good ol' days when there was no replacement for displacement.Nov 04, 2009

I've had my Charger for about 10 years now. Just got it painted 3 years ago. Got the roof redone 2 years ago. Got the exhaust replaced this year. Hoping to get the engine work done next year. Little by little. But it's mine, it's paid for, and it gets a lot of looks. I like it!Sep 27, 2009

This was the very first my dad gave to me.
He wanted a "tank" in case of an accident.
He was no thinking about the other cars...Mar 19, 2008

there really isent much to say only that the 1973 charger had many pros, the conventional system has yet not failed in the mighty image of the charger. Although the image of a charger is usually a 1968 charger body style, but the 1973 body is much more complex and more so understand. handling is much more persise and its a much more comfortable ride. It is definatly worth of being a dream car to many car enthusiasts, its mine!Dec 13, 2007
