The truck is good overall. The performance is amazing, acceleration top notch for a '73 (also because it was a big block)
Build quality: It needed a few repairs here and there but not a lot
Apperance: This one wasn't the best appearance outside of the truck but inside was really good 10-12 miles per gallon on good day
This truck is a blast to drive Jun 23, 2011

Got this when i was 13 and started tearin it down to re-do it. Plans are to lower it down as low as possible with out baggin it. Droppin a 383 stroker in it and givin it a good paint job. Nov 09, 2009

i have a 1947 chevy 1 ton pickup. This thing didnt go back
that far so I just picked the oldest one they offered. but it is
an awesome truck Its a lot of fun to drive and it gets a ton of
looks. If you want to see the truck go to chatter box on a
saturday night. I am usually there.Aug 18, 2009

Amazing overall vehicle, the only downside to this truck was the gas mileage for it. when tuned properly had quick response and acceleration with no problems braking when needed. for it being an original vehicle when I got it, I have replaced most of the gaskets, rebuilt the transmission, flushed all the fluids (including the rear diff.). I would recommend to anyone to get one if they could. Easy to work on and a blast to driveJul 15, 2009

I've had this truck since I was 17. And its been in my family since it rolled off the dealer lot in '73. The engine threw a rod on me in Feb. '01, and since then I have been rebuilding the whole truck. Full frame-off restoration still in progess, and will probably be in progress till I'm too old to work on it anymore. 355ci small block, TH350, 12 bolt posi, 5"/7" drop.Jul 02, 2008
