This car is a blast to drive, from the roar of its all aluminum fuel injected V8, to its very compliant ride, yet responsive handling. The interior is no nonsense by todays standards, but VERY comfortable. It has a timeless look!Jan 05, 2013

I believe this car is one of the best that Mercedes has ever made. It is incredibly advanced for its age. Everything is electric, disc brakes all around, and A/C. Plus, the beauty of the car is something else.Sep 09, 2011

Tank, period. Plenty of power to motivate it smoothly down the highway, but
consumes an amount of gasoline exponentially proportionate to how far you
push the right pedal down. Definite head turner, many of these people might
be thinking "is that pure cash I see draining out of the tailpipe?". As with all
Mercedes I know of, you will either be pleasantly surprised or inversely
devastated in the unlikely instance something breaks, with the exception of the
heater controls, which WILL break and WILL be expensive to fix, properly. If
you get one with AC and it has the original freon in it, don't mess with it. If you
convert it to R34a, it will be more for looks than real comfort "oh, it has AC?",
"yes, don't touch it". Also typical of Mercedes, this thing will likely go forever if
you maintain it. You can feel the solid car as it doesn't necessarily move, but
continually dominate and occupy different sections of space as it goes from A
to B. Chrome everywhere, but in a very cool way. Impractical as a daily driver
if only for the horrible gas mileage. Besides, do you really want to rack up the
miles on a sweet old car like this? Sure you do! I would trust this car to drive
just about anywhere, as long as it is in the fall or winter!Aug 25, 2010

It was 15 years old when I got it which mean thtat while it looked great, it was time for everythign to break. I didn't ahve a garage so people kept stealing parts off of it. Not jsut the satr but the headlight assembly and the hibcaps. I gave up when they stole the grillOct 30, 2008

Stay away, money pit. Looked cool, but costly. Hard to keep up and NOT A CAR FOR A HIGH SCHOOLER! It is way too fragile.May 11, 2008
