I loved everything about the Pantera. In fact of all the vehicles I have owned in my life it is one of just two that I wish I had never sold. I still to this day remember the VIN number and hope I can someday track it down again to see what has become of it. Perhaps I'll own another should the right (white Pre-L) come along. It's only weakness was the lack of tires that would allow it to really perform.May 23, 2013

Stunning looks and sounds, and absolutely flat handling make this 40 year old classic a lot of fun to drive. Chunky gearbox and lack of power steering, along with cramped quarters are the drawbacks, but what a body, easily as attractive as anything coming out of Modena or Stuttgart today, testament to Tom Tjaarda's timeless design.Apr 21, 2012

The engineering is a bit wonky in places and the seating position is nothing short of sadistic, but this thing is drop dead gorgeous. Lovely V8 sound and torque, surprisingly good fuel economy (4th and 5th gears are overdrives), big trunk. But drive 100 miles in the stock seats and you will plead for death. Feb 20, 2010
